Little girl
there is no scare
open your heart
be brave and dare
Look under your bed
no ghost are hiding
its all in your mind
and peoples writing
From soil we came
no mystery involved
to be your fullest
you need be resolved
Look with our eyes
think with your head
make your own mind
instead of whats said
Sadness will come
to you one day
but don´t let it harden
or lead you astray
As many hurts
and sorrows exist
even greater love
there is
Nothing lasts
but nothing is lost
keep that in mind
when you feel exhaust
In you I trust
our future to create
a far better place
without all the hate
With you the sun
will rise and shine
if so you chose
to compassion assign
It´s all in your hands

I came back to thank you for the comment you left. I have to admit, I never remember to come back and read if anyone replies to what I’ve said in a comment. I kept an online journal at another site for 11 years and grew so used to going back and forth between diaries to note each other.
I’m so pleased you gain inspiration from my writings.
You too please, keep expressing yourself in your writing, sometimes it is our only means of sanity in a crazy, mixed up world.

Thanks for coming back Daydreamertoo. I too often forget to go back to the blogs I have commented on, and subscribing to comments on a blog can lead a flooding of emails with it. Word are still my only readily available channel for expression of feelings. Recordings and photography I use more for expressing atmospheres and sound/visual scapes. I am quite curious to see some of your tech stuff one day if you blog that as well? I see you are a techie too, and you have even driven a red double decker bus -respect! 🙂

I love the angle you have chosen to write the poem – it’s almost as if the plant is talking to the little girl … placing its life and future in her hands as she is the adult of tomorrow … really beautiful and carries a message of hope !
